Office & business clearance
Clear the workspace. Meet the handover date.
From a few unwanted desks to the contents of an office, shop or small business unit, we remove the agreed items, sort the waste and agree the required paperwork before work starts.
Clearance Planned Around the Job, Not Guesswork
Business clearances often have a deadline, a landlord or agent to answer to, and several different waste streams in the same space. We assess what needs removing, agree what is excluded and plan the collection around access and site rules.
Office move: Remove furniture and unwanted equipment after the items moving to the new premises have been labelled.
End of lease: Clear agreed loose contents before cleaning, repairs, inspections or handover.
Downsizing or reorganisation: Remove surplus desks, chairs, storage and equipment without clearing the whole workplace.
Business closure: Clear agreed assets, stock and waste once ownership and disposal instructions are confirmed.
Landlord or agent clearance: Remove items left in a commercial unit where authority to dispose of them has been established.
Refurbishment preparation: Clear loose furniture and contents before contractors begin, with building waste and strip-out work agreed separately.
What We Can Clear
The service can cover a single room, selected items or the agreed loose contents of smaller commercial premises.
Fixed fixtures, partitions, cabling, plumbing, flooring, building materials and reinstatement work are not ordinary clearance items and must be agreed separately.

What We Need to Know Before Quoting
A useful quote needs more than the floor area. Tell us what is leaving, what is staying and what the building allows.
Inventory or photographs: Show the furniture, equipment, stock and waste to be removed.
Site access: Tell us about loading bays, lifts, stairs, parking, security, permits and restricted collection times.
Deadline and working hours: Confirm the handover date and whether work must happen around staff, customers or neighbours.
Dismantling: Identify furniture or equipment that needs taking apart and whether it is fixed to the premises.
Waste types: Flag electricals, confidential material, chemicals, batteries, liquids and anything unusual.
Authority to dispose: Make sure the business, landlord or agent has confirmed which items may be removed.

From Site Review to Cleared Premises
Send the scope. Provide photographs or an inventory, the site address, access details, deadline and any landlord or building-management requirements.
We assess the clearance. Larger, mixed or access-sensitive jobs may need a site visit before the quote is confirmed.
Agree the plan and paperwork. We confirm what is included, identify specialist waste or data risks, and agree timing and waste-transfer requirements.
We clear the agreed items. The team removes and sorts the agreed contents, then confirms completion against the agreed scope.
Common Questions
How much does an office or business clearance cost?
The price depends on the volume and type of contents, labour, access, parking, dismantling, disposal routes and the timing of the job. We assess the scope before confirming a quote.
Do you provide a waste transfer note?
Business waste requires a waste transfer note or equivalent compliant documentation for each load of non-hazardous waste. Confirm the exact paperwork supplied as part of the quote before booking.
Can you clear an office while staff are still working?
Potentially. The job needs a clear work area, safe routes and an agreed schedule. Tell us about working hours, customers, shared spaces and building rules when you enquire.
Can you work outside normal business hours?
This depends on availability, building access and local restrictions. Provide the permitted working window so it can be considered in the quote.
Can you dismantle desks and office furniture?
Freestanding furniture can often be dismantled where agreed. Fixed furniture, partitions and installations require separate assessment.
Can you remove computers and monitors?
Potentially, yes. Electrical equipment needs an appropriate waste route. Data-bearing devices must also have an agreed data-erasure or destruction process before removal.
Can you securely destroy paperwork or hard drives?
Only where a secure destruction service and the required evidence have been explicitly agreed. Otherwise, confidential items must be separated and handled through an appropriate specialist.
Can you clear unwanted stock?
Potentially. We need to know the quantity, materials, ownership and whether any stock is hazardous, liquid, perishable, branded or subject to controlled disposal.
Can you remove fixed fixtures or carry out a strip-out?
Not as part of a standard loose-contents clearance. Fixed fixtures, partitions, flooring, cabling and strip-out work must be assessed and quoted separately.
Will the premises be ready for landlord handover?
The agreed clearance can leave the specified areas empty of the listed contents. It does not guarantee that all lease, cleaning, repair or dilapidations obligations have been met.
What if some items belong to the landlord or a leasing company?
Get written authority before they are removed. The clearance should only include items the instructing party has the right to dispose of.
Can useful office furniture be donated or reused?
Sometimes. It depends on condition, demand, quantity, access and available reuse routes. Mention reusable items early so realistic options can be considered.
How quickly can you clear a business premises?
That depends on the scope, access, paperwork, specialist waste and current availability. Provide the handover or move date when you enquire and we will confirm what is realistic.
What areas do you cover?
The intended service area includes Ranskill, Retford, Worksop and surrounding areas, subject to confirmation of the final business coverage.
